It Had To Be You

Here you see Alec enjoying the highs and lows of friendship with his first real friend Grace. By 'real' I mean that he could pick her out of a crowd and knows her name (he actually has a sign just for her). Don't mistake this to mean he enjoys her company - she steals attention and admiration that is rightfully his, touches his things and generally makes him quite nervous (I suspect he considers her a beautiful but unpredictable being). Incidentally this sums up my historically tortured relationship with my best friend and (younger) sister who turns 30 today. Egads, now we're both old (and I still don't like it when she touches my stuff).
